Well it's been a while since I've made any progress on the RV-7 project. So today I'm making a little bit of a start to get back on track. After getting the landing lights installed in the wings I had to figure out the next steps and that mostly involves the wiring and lights for the wingtip recognition lights and strobes, the heated pitot/AOA sensor, and wingtip VOR antenna. So I ordered a bunch of parts and tools to work with and today about all I accomplished was doing an inventory and some light assembly of the DRDT-2 dimpler that I ordered. I figured I should go ahead and buy one along with all the dimple dies I needed so I wouldn't have to borrow Red's again. But that's where I'm at for right now. I've got more parts on order and expect in the next few days. I'll be going back to work in Africa next Monday so I'm not planning on getting anything started until I get back at the end of August.
